Welcome to the Sherpa Search blog. We are a consulting company in the area of talent acquisition and talent retention in the IT industry.
Our 12 years of experience in the recruitment industry gives us a broad perspective not only on the development of the labour market in IT, but the development of trends in IT in general.
We share knowledge that will be of interest to our community of IT practitioners, recruiters and HR professionals active in technology industries and enthusiasts in this area. We have therefore stated that our blog will focus on the so-called 'megatrends' in IT and the HR trends that reflect them.
You will be able to read here about the development of data science and machine learning.
We show interesting examples of the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
We also want to explore and present the theme of 'smart industries' - the interface between engineering and IT, nowadays supported by AI.
Finally, we will write a lot about robotisation and the future of human labour, as well as the future of the professions in the context of 'robotic process automation'.
Our readers are you, you and you :) they represent different levels of technical knowledge, there are both programmers, managers from different types of industry and services, and finally HR professionals working in the technological industries.
We write in a generally understandable language, so the articles sometimes contain some simplifications (for which we apologise technical experts). Despite this, we hope that they will be equally interesting for everyone.
For our readers who are less technically oriented, we have created a series of "understand technology" entries.
We draw our knowledge and inspiration for writing a blog from many sources - but we will not hide the fact that we are particularly keen to read "Techcrunch", "Wired" and "The Economist". Even if we are dealing with the same topics at the same time, we try to reflect our view on the matter.
Finally, as part of the 'Books' series, we will present interesting books in the area of trends in technology development and trends in recruitment and HR.
